The Veteran and Family Wellbeing Agency opened on 1 July 2026, commencing as part of the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA).
The Agency is focused on the wellbeing of veterans and families of veterans. We bring together information, services and support so people do not have to work things out alone.
We work alongside government, community organisations, service providers and people with lived experience to make support easier to find, easier to understand and easier to access.
We understand that every veteran and family has different experiences, strengths and needs. Our approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, and respects choice, culture, identity and family circumstances.
